Jerk BBQ Tofu

Method

    Slice tofu in pieces and season with onion, garlic, salt and black pepper.

    Combine flour, salt and paprika to make seasoned flour.

  • 3

    Dip tofu pieces in seasoned flour and coat well.

  • 4

    In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil on a medium heat and fry the floured tofu for 1-2 minutes on each side until lighty golden, then drain on paper towel.

    To make your Barbecue Sauce: Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté onion and sweet pepper over a medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

    Add Grace Jerk BBQ Sauce, Grace Fish & Meat Sauce and honey, mix well and continue to heat for a further 2-3 minutes.

    Pour your sweet and sticky Jerk BBQ Sauce sauce over the fried tofu pieces in a baking tray and and place in a pre-heated oven at (180°C) 350°F for 10 minutes until deliciously caramelised.

  • • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • • 1 clove Garlic, chopped
  • • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • • 250g Plain Flour
  • • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • > To Make Barbecue Sauce:
  • • 60ml Vegetable or Olive Oil
  • • 1 tbsp Vegetable or Olive Oil
  • • 1 tbsp Onion, chopped
  • • 1 tbsp Red Pepper, chopped
  • • 125g Grace Jerk BBQ Sauce
  • • 60g Grace Fish & Meat Sauce
  • • 60g Honey
  • • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
